Getting active with depression

My name is Leigh and I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm a mother of three, grandmother of seven.

I let my daughter set this up for me because I'm fighting depression right now, and stuck in one of those stupid vicious cycles depression creates. I'm worried about whether I'll have enough money to retire and keep my house, and that anxiety feeds my depression. It would help my depression to get out of the house more and see more people, but joining my local seniors' centre to sign up for an exercise group or an artistic class would cost money, which I'm anxious about...

So this fundraiser is for the "frivolous" things that would help my mental health, so I'm more equipped to handle financial anxiety and maybe get back into the workplace. I'd love any help anyone could give me.
