Getting a new Wheelchair for Alicia

Hey I’m Nicola, Alicia’s mum. Alicia has a condition called Deplegic Cerebral Palsy, this affects both her lower limbs. In the past she has had 3 rounds of Botox therapy which has not helped although she now has got Internal Tibial Torsion causing her to have to have a surgery called “Tibia Derotation Osteotomy” which means she needs to have her tibia’s broken (starting with the left leg) and realigned & pinned back together. Once this has healed she will then need to have the same surgery repeated on her right leg. She will also need both her femurs broken and realigned in time.

This is where I need your help, after speaking to all relevant departments they will supply us with a bed & commode for downstairs but will not supply a wheelchair for me to be able to take her out, unfortunately I will still need to do school runs for my other child and she would have to come with me and wouldn’t be able to walk it.
