Getting a leg up on the next chapter

Hi to all the incredible people on here!

My story in and of itself is not unique, girl grows up, arthritis attacks joints, knees go bad, lose a leg to infection...ok wait it might be a tiny bit unique-ish. My name is Jen and at 32 I'm a newly minted one legged single mom. I've had more then 25 surgeries between my knees and on a trip for family matters my left knee was overtaken in infection and it got so bad so fast i had no choice but a clean break. I'm now a Left Above Knee Amputee LAKA for short. I feel so much better for it too!! However I live in Louisiana and I'm currently in Tennessee where this all happened. I have a chance at a great life and a fresh start but i could use a bit of help. I'm trying to get home, get some medical bills paid, build a fence to pro ide a safe environment for the doggo as walking is not a safe or viable option for the forseeable future, and start saving for a handicap access van to regain my independence. I am wheelchair bound with complications in my remaining knee but that isn't slowing me down. No siree bob. I don't expect this amount bur any amount is su h a huge help and i refuse to be prideful and stand in my own way. My story is long my chapters many but ohhhhh weee i will make this life SPARKLE!!!
