The Get Sophy to Greece fund

Over the past couple months, Soph and her family have been faced with her dad, Konstantin's declining health and working to decide the best place for him to live long-term. They've decided Greece is the right choice for him and Soph feels it's best for someone to escort him back to Greece to help him get settled in, get some Dr's appts underway and help him find a new apartment in the city- closer to local support. In addition, this means more frequent travel back and forth to check in and the flight and travel costs are not something she was planning for.

While anyone who knows soph, knows she would never ever ask, we know that this would be an amazing gift if her community could rally to help offset the cost of time away from work, plane tickets, etc.

We have all known Soph's incredibly generous spirit and this is one chance for the people who love her to surround her with a little bit of tangible support in a circumstance as precious to her as caring for her dad.

No pressure if this is not a time where you feel you can be financially generous. We've all been there! But if you do feel so inclined, we are going to try and raise a little cash to offset her travel costs. Anything beyond the goal set will be saved for future travels back and forth btwn US & Greece.
