For those not already aware, the amazing Little Peaches was awarded

a position to not only perform at the 2023 Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, but COMPETE in the Best Debut category.

This honour is not only one that many burlesque performers dream and aspire to achieve, but it's also one so unbelievably deserved for Little Peaches.

Basically, it's like the Olympics of Burlesque.

It's kinda a big deal.

You might be wondering why we're doing a little GoFundMe to help Peaches achieve this goal and dream?

Well, a few of Peaches friends got together and agreed that she deserved the help and didn't want to let Peaches' finances and disability dictate whether or not she'd be able to attend or not. So, after some convincing and reassurance that the Burlesque community would also want to support her, Peaches agreed to let us host a GoFundMe page to help #GetPeachesToBHoF

Being disabled comes with a lot more extra expenses than you can imagine.

Since starting her burlesque journey, Peaches was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which can make it excruciatingly painful to move. Not only did this mean that Peaches had to completely rethink how she danced and performed but also meant that she now faced more barriers than ever before as the world is simply not made for disabled people.

A simple exciting trip to the US now has to factor in direct flights to help minimise the risk of her wheelchair being lost in transit, extra time to recoup in case the travel causes a flare, hotels at airports due to the length of the travel in the UK to get to a direct flight, and so much more.

We've added a breakdown of the costs below to be transparent as to where your donation will go and what needs to be covered.

Due to the length of the flight too, Peaches is unable to take her support dog, Possum. As a result, if the original goal is hit, we'll be adding a stretch goal which will allow Peaches to bring a support person with her.

We have a registered and certified support worker who is also close to Peaches and is involved in the burlesque world to make things easier and more enjoyable. The stretch for them will only cover the cost of travel, accommodation and the ticket to the Weekender and they will be donating their time supporting Peaches.

You cannot deny that Little Peaches has been an integral part of helping shows become more accessible, not only in the UK but all over the world. After creating and producing the original DisabiliTease, a show dedicated to platforming disabled, chronically ill and chronically divine performers,

Little Peaches was named one of the world's most influential burlesque performers on the Burlesque top 50 both in 2020 and 2021 not only for her performances but also due to the work she's done within the disabled community to not only ensure producers are doing what they can to create safe spaces but also that disabled performers are seen, heard and platformed.

She's also been there to validate and support many of us throughout our disabled journeys, whether it be physical, invisible, chronic, mental health, etc. a lot of performers have Peaches to thank for even feeling safe enough to request accessibility requirements from producers. Wether they know it or not.

Throughout the GoFundMe we'll share videos, both from ourselves explaining why we feel Little PEaches is deserving of this support, but also from Peaches herself so she can share just how grateful she is.

What needs to be covered:

She’s queer, she’s disabled, she’s opinionated and she refuses to follow doctors' orders. Little Peaches will break your heart, tell stories it holds, whip you into shape and prove that people with disabilities are worthy.
