Hi, my name is Stephen Wendell. If you haven't met me before you probably know my parents Russ and Jeanne or my sisters Ariana and Abbey.
God is so good! This past year I feel that God has put me on a spiritual fast track. It is amazing seeing all the things he has done in just a few months time. As some of you know I just returned from a missions trip to India about a month ago. I cannot begin to describe how incredible the experience was and the impact it had on my life. When I was in India I had the opportunity to share the Gospel and the love of God to the people there. It was amazing to see how Jesus changes the lives of those around me.
Since my return I have been praying and seeking what God wants to do next in my life. After my experience in India I cannot think of a better way to serve Him than by going into full time ministry. However, before I do this I feel that it is extremely important to be discipled in the proper way. I want to have a full knowledge of God's word and trained in righteousness before pursuing this goal. As I looked into ministry school one in particular kept coming to my heart and mind. My sister Abbey brought to my attention a school called Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. The goal of the school is to train students to become revivalists so they can go out and change the world for Jesus Christ. The training is very in depth and covers everything that is necessary to be prepared for ministry.
I applied at the school a little over a week ago. When I had my interview they said it usually takes two to three weeks to make a decission on applications. However, within one week they sent me an acceptance letter. After I was accepted I prayed and continued to ask God if this was the right path for me, I filled out some applications and emailed a few people inquiring about apartments in the area. I felt if this was God's plan then he would provide me a place to live. On that same day I was contacted by a man who rents out apartments to BSSM students. After a short conversation on the phone he immediately accepted my application. He also informed me that the other students I will be rooming with are from India! I fully believe that this is the next step that God wants me to take.
Now that I have been accepted and have housing my last step is to get to Redding California where the school is located. There is also a substantial tuition payment required before the school year starts. I have less than three weeks before I need to leave before school. I will be working while I am attending school to pay for most of the tuition and living expenses. It would be a tremendous blessing if you would consider sowing into the future of the ministry which God has called me into. Please consider a donation or gift of any amount. At this point my goal is to raise $3500. Any amount that you can give would be greatly appreciated. I fully believe and have faith that God will provide and take care of the finances that are needed.
