3 Years of Attending and counting.

Hi there, and thank you for visiting my campaign. My name is Dave and I'm 27 years old. I am what you might call a "Lego Artist" I build things out of lego and post them on the internet. If you are curious about my work you can view most of it HERE . This is just one example of things I have created

Pretty cool huh? This is just one of many of my creations.

The thing is, I am trying to raise money for myself so that I can register and attend Bricks By The Bay , for a fourth year in a row. For those of you that don't know, BBTB is a 4 day convention celebrating the art and love of Lego. It is absolutely the one thing I look forward to every year because while sleep and food are scares, Lego and great company is abundant.  Some of my favorite people in the world come from all over the West Coast for this event. and we spend 4 days sharing ideas, showing eachother new ways to build, and most fun of all, showing off our creations! Lego even unvieled a lego set at the Convention last year. How exciting is that?

Unfortunately I have fallen on fiscally tight times. While my family and I are doing okay, money is really tight and there isn't much for anything beyond the bills and food. I have been in between jobs for a couple of months after getting sick from my last job, and I wasn't able to save up for the convention this year. This is why I am turning to gofundme and your donations to help me get to the convention  and hopefully not break my attending streak.

I am requesting a goal of $500 which I will use for:

Registraition
Hotel
Gas for a friend to take me(can't drive myself)
Food for the 4 days I'm there.

My side of the table at 2014's event. It was my first year and I brought EVERYTHING! I also was fortunate enough to win 4 out of the 5 awords in the Bionicle category that year.  I felt like Adele at the Grammies.

I first discovered BBTB in 2013 on it's public day, 2014 saw my first year as an attendee and WOW what an amazing experience it was! I won a bunch of awards and met some of the most amazing Adult Fans Of Lego(AFOL's) ever! 2015 saw me make new friends and expand already existing friendships. While I love being around my Lego hobby friends, some of them I only get to see once a year at this event because they simply live too far to visit regularly. This is particularly why BBTB is important to me. I would absolutely hate to miss seeing my friends and having to wait a whole nother year before I could see them again, as well as miss out on all the fun and excitement that will happen at this year's event.

Here's the "Bionicle Gang" from 2014.

I would absolutely appreciate  any and all support given towards this cause. To show my appreciation I am currently working on a new creation AND ITS BIG! If all goes according to plan and I can make it to BBTB this year I will refrain from my usual photographs and posting to the internet and instead will show the creation here first, then unveil it at Bricks By The Bay this year. Then when I finally do post the creation to the internet I will take the list of those who would like to be listed and include their name when I post the creation to my Social networking sites(Deviantart, Instagram, Flickr, Tumblr, possibly youtube, and Twitterwith a link to another site).
Thank you most sincerely for taking the time to read my campaign and if you donated I appreciate your support, it means the world to me.

Yours Truly,
Dave Foreman.
