Study Abroad to Spain

My name is Capria Davis and I am a Junior at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I am currently a multimedia mass communications major with an emphasis on photography and a minor in the spanish language. At Mount Mercy I am also involved in the SGA, Spanish Club as well as the president and co-founder of Mount Mercy's BSU. I also participate on the Mount Mercy Track & Field team as a sprinter and javelin thrower.
I am currently trying to raise money for a month long study abroad trip to Spain. The trip will take place from the last week in May until the last week in June. The total costs of this trip around $5600. This price includes tuition for the class, round trip airfare, all of the weekend excursions, meals, as well as housing and laundering services while we are there.
I would be staying with a host family in Segovia, Spain and studying at el Centro de Estudios Hispánicos de Segovia.The weekend excursions include trips to Madrid, Andalucⲩía, Sevilla, Granada, as well as Morocco, Africa.
I have listed my goal at $6000 to take into account the small percentage that the site takes out.
I originally planned on funding this trip with tuition assistance availble through my current employer but recently found out that they will not cover travel courses.
Now I am trying to raise money so that way this trip is still a possibility. I am currently working to find sponsors as well as applying for every scholarship that would be available to help me as well as donations from family, friends, and others! If you could help out whether it be 1 penny , 1 dollar or 10 dollars It would be so greatly appreciated !!!
As I am currently still registered to go to Spain, if I do not raise all funds by April 8th and cancel my registration I will have to pay a pro-rated fee.
It would mean the world to me if I were able to raise all of the funds and go to Spain. Not only will this experience help to elevate my career but it will also help me to reach my goals of becoming fluent in the Spanish language. This course will also help me to complete my minor in the Spanish language.
