Hello friends!
Recently adoption has been very heavy on Camden and my heart. Bryson often asks for a brother or pretends he has one when playing.
Through our journey of healing with Bryson we have learned how growing our family will deepen that process. We believe that Bryson will benefit, especially as he grows and dives deeper into his wounds, from having a brother who will be there as a support.
Also, Camden and I have a deep yearning to add to our family. We both grew up with siblings and have witnessed the unmatchable beauty. Not only will this fill that empty spot, but it will also help us with our own healing. Right now Bryson needs all of our attention from the moment he wakes until he goes to sleep. Adding another boy will help ease that need and build him up.
As the Lord sees it, I cannot have children. After taking in Bryson and watching him learn through love, more than ever, we want to adopt! We have walked through the valley of death and felt it's pain. We are ready and now prepared to save another precious child.
Truthfully, I cannot imagine anything I want more than this. This is the point that changes everything. We have been a broken unit far too long.
