LA Hopeful
Hello Friends and Family!
2016 is a huge year for me as I begin my journey beyond school and into the "real world," and I need your help!
I am currently in my senior year at Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts, and will graduate in May with a BFA in Musical Theatre. In order to get exposure to professional contacts and opportunities as we transition into the real world, Webster hosts two showcase performances, one in New York and one in Los Angeles. These are BIG for us. This is like the ultimate job interview for people in the performance arts. We get the chance to audition in front of some of the industries top casting directors and talent agents, and get personalized feedback from them.
Unfortunately, only the New York Open showcase is covered by our tuition. In order to get to LA, we must each raise $1500, which covers travel, lodging and the fee to bring in the agents and casting directors, as well as $200 in addition for a closed showcase in New York City. Although we have been fundraising as a class for some time, we still have a long way to go. We need the money by April 1st so that we can reserve seats on planes, hotel rooms, etc!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Students involved in previous Webster showcases have booked national tours, commercials and agent representation. This is something that really excites me, and if I am able to get to showcase, I may have these opportunities as well!
Any amount towards our goal would be much appreciated. I am so excited to begin my journey as an artist, and I am so thankful for all who have helped me over the years become the artist I am today! I am thankful for your continued support!

P.S. I realize that there are many others out there that need support in different ways than I do. If you have the time, go check out some other good causes on gofundme for people who are in need. We are very fortunate to have our health and happiness, so keep passing on your gifts beyond this page!
