Help Jack receive VEO-IBD treatment at CHOP

Donation protected
Jack was diagnosed with VEO-IBD (Very Early Onset Irritable Bowel Disease) Severe Pancolitis Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 5 in early 2019. After three years of failed treatment, Jack is still fighting for remission and relief from this aggressive and debilitating disease. Although his illness is "invisible", it affects almost every aspect of Jack's life, from frequently missing school and social opportunities to suffering from bone deterioration, malnutrition, mental health and more. Jack's case has been deemed too severe to continue care by two of Georgia's leading Pediatric Gastroenterology teams. He has now been referred to the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania to receive treatment from the Program Director of the Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease (VEO-IBD) Clinic. Over the past three years, Jack has undergone numerous medical procedures and hospitalizations and has received specialty medications, all of which have failed to offer relief or healing. Even with health insurance, our family has amassed a large number of medical bills and will likely go further in debt in order to get Jack the treatment that he needs in Pennsylvania. We are humbly asking for the support of our friends and family to help us ensure that Jack is able to continue his fight for remission. We appreciate any contribution, no matter how small, that you are able to make towards his treatment. Even if you are not able to support Jack financially, we appreciate all prayers, actions, and words of encouragement. Thank you!
