My husband Zach was in a serious accident last night while coming home from work. We are raising money to help out with out-of-pocket medical expenses, and bills.
 
 
A driver attempted to make a left turn and crossed the lanes in front of him which unfortunately was not timed well. They hit him and the bike. I was on the phone via his helmet during this. All I heard was “Oh No!” then a hit and the phone disconnected. He was unconscious but came to quickly and two men were there when he woke up. They were able to call me and I headed to the scene along with Sam. When we got there, they didn’t have much information. Zach was responsive and they were getting him into the ambulance.
 
He has quite a few injuries, some more serious than others. As of this moment, I know he has the following:
 
Fractured right femur
Pelvis fractured in multiple places
Broken left knee
Left hip was/is partially dislocated
Right elbow fractured
Left pinky broken
 
 
Surgery on the right femur has been completed and went well. Waiting on results of more tests to determine when we will be doing his hip replacement.
 

We are so grateful for the well wishes and help everyone is sending, it’s amazing to see all the love for Zachary.
