Get your grove on - 24 hour danceathon!
Gary Springall, Georgie Storey and a team of friends & colleagues have set themselves the crazy task of completing a 24-hour danceathon at the Miners Arms, Mithian on 27th June starting at 4pm.
Gary and Georgie will be completing the full 24 hours with their back up dancers doing a 4-shift in between working!
Neon rave wear will be optional, but expect some costume changes!
Gary’s dad, Bryan, was diagnosed with dementia, a progressive condition that affects memory, thinking and behaviour, 5 years ago.
One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime. Either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both.
If you would like to join in with the danceathon or just come and support us, we will be dancing from 4pm on the 27th June until 4pm on the 28th June. However, if dancing the night away is not your thing, your donation would be greatly appreciated and make a difference to enable continued care and support provided to everyone affected by dementia.
Thank you for your support!!
