Get Winnie Her Liver Shunt Removed!

Donation protected
Hello everyone, you might not know me but I'm Lisa Martinez. I'm the owner of a sweet little 9 month old Pug named Winnie. Winnie means the world to me as i've had her since she was 5 weeks old. I got Winnie as an Emotional Support Animal since i have a severe panic disorder. I love her to bits, shes everything to me and makes me happy and feel safe.

She hasn’t had the best luck with health unfortunately, She has something called a Portosystemic Shunt (PSS) or also known as a Liver Shunt. This affects how she gains weight as she is only around 6.8 pounds which for a healthy Pug her age should be 14-18 pounds. It can also develop neurological issues. as of now shes on medical management care taking antibiotics, a medication to keep her liver levels down & an anti seizure medication, but it cant be for long. It already cost 200$ for her medication every 2 weeks. Keeping her on medication can give her 3-10 months with endgame needing to be surgical intervention. The cost of the surgery is going be around 5,000$-8,000$  and we want to be able to give her that so she can go on and live her life and be happy as any pup should. And she has to be on special l/d food for the rest of her life or until the shunt gets removed, which cost around 5$ a can that last 2 days or 100$ for a 17 pound bag of dry food.

This is a very costly surgery and I do need help paying for it. Anything truly counts towards this.
Every dollar will either go to her medication, surgery intervention, doctors appointments & her special food.
