Hey everyone!

I wanted to post an update and clear up a few messages I’ve received.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many people, I’ve been gifted a hotel stay, a ticket to tomorrow’s game, and a discount code for my flight (I covered the rest).

ALL of the GoFundMe money is now being donated to charity. Part will go to an Ontario organization supporting women’s shelters, the rest to KidSport NL, which helps under privlaged kids play sports in Newfoundland and Labrador. I’ll also be volunteering my time musically with a local cancer foundation that supports patients and their families.

This all just came together so quickly and beautifully. I’m truly thankful for everyone’s kindness and happy this fun little idea could help others.

I hope this clears up any confusion anyone may be having.

Help Send Dave to the World Series

(For Real This Time)

I don’t need a private jet or front-row seats. I just need 4,000 generous souls with $1 each to help me get in the building to watch the Blue Jays in the World Series….. or 800 people to donate $5 due to gofundme minimum donation

This all started as a joke, but after posting about it, people actually told me to go for it. So here we are. A humble Blue Jays fan chasing an impossible dream.

I’ve been cheering for the Jays my whole life, through heartbreak, rebuilds, and every late-night West Coast game. Now, for the first time in forever, there’s a real shot at glory, and I want to be there to scream, cheer, and probably cry a little.

This campaign isn’t about luxury. It’s about one regular guy trying to make it to the game. I’ll only use the bare minimum funds needed for travel and a ticket.

To keep things fair and transparent:

• If the goal isn’t reached, all funds will be donated to a local charity in Newfoundland.

• If we go over the goal, anything beyond what’s needed will also be donated to that same charity.

I’ll vlog the entire trip so everyone can follow along and share in the experience.

Let’s make this happen. Let’s send one regular guy to witness history.
