Hi my name is Trudy.

I am trying to help a dear friend of 38 years, Teresa, raise funds to take Wendy to Wales. Teresa is 100% aware of this as I asked her permission to do this. All funds raised will go directly to her.

We are trying to raise funds to get Teresa on a plane to take back Wendy's ashes to her only remaining relatives in Wales.

Their story.

We all met in High School in 1985. And became friends. There were a big group of us.

Over the years and life, we all kept in contact, Wendy and Teresa were best buddies. Unfortunately as Wendy aged, her health started declining. So for the past 20 years Teresa selflessly put her own life on hold to become Wendy's full time carer. She needed a wheelchair on bad days. And could make do with her cane or walker on the better ones. Unfortunately in September of 2022 Wendy's health took a bad turn and she ended up have her left leg amputated 12cm above her left knee, and from there her heart, kidneys and liver started to fail. She started on dialysis for her kidneys, and Teresa has been there for it all. Including having 3 babies of her who are now all grown, but came to be Wendy's niece and nephews. She is one of the most kindest and amazing people I've had the privilege to call my friend. Wendy's dying wish was to have her ashes taken back to Wales, to her remaining blood relatives whom she had kept in close contact with since leaving Wales with her Mam at a young age.

Even $1 will help. Funeral expenses have wiped out bereavement payment and anything will help.
