Get Well Soon Lexie

This fundraiser supports The Bacon Family and the recovery of Josh and Megan's daughter Alexis (Lexie).

As many people know, on the evening of October 31st, Lexie was admitted to the PICU at NLEMMC with septic bacterial meningitis. She spent several days in the PICU and was transferred to the regular pediatric floor on November 4th, where she was progressing and beginning her recovery. On the evening of November 5th, Lexie suffered several serious complications and was transported by Life Flight to the Barabara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland, where she remains in the PICU. Lexie is in very serious condition but is stable at this time.

Anyone who knows this family knows how kind and compassionate they are and how hard they work to raise and support their loving family. Josh will return to work later this week, and Megan will remain in Portland with Lexie for the duration of her hospitalization. The recovery time is unknown, but it is likely to be extensive, and Megan will be out of work for that time. With the severity of her illness and the unknown extent of recovery, they will need the support of their family and friends. Any donations and funds raised will go directly to the family for anything they may need to help them through this tough time. I thank you all in advance!!
