Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out during an incredibly heartbreaking and stressful time for our sweet boy, Jaxon. He’s a 6-year-old pitbull with the biggest heart and the gentlest soul. If you’ve ever met him, you know he is pure love always bringing comfort, joy, and warmth to everyone around him.

Recently, Jaxon became very sick. On November 29th, we rushed him to the ER after finding an alarming amount of blood in his stool. He was diagnosed with Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis, a frightening and painful condition. He was severely dehydrated and had to stay overnight for fluids, monitoring, X-rays, and extensive blood work.

Although he came home, Jaxon still hasn’t returned to his normal self. Today, we had to bring him back to the ER as more blood appeared in his stool. He is once again receiving fluids and is undergoing a sonogram. After this second visit, he must be closely monitored and if he does not improve, he will need to see a specialist, with the possibility of surgery.

We are doing everything we can to help him, but the costs are becoming overwhelming. Two emergency visits, and with additional tests, specialists, or surgery, the expenses will continue to climb. Emotionally and financially, this has taken a huge toll on our family.

We never imagined needing to ask for help, but Jaxon is family. He deserves every chance to heal and live the happy, loving life he gives so freely to others. Anything you’re able to contribute whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this truly means the world to us.

This has been incredibly hard on Jaxon and our family, especially during the holiday season. All we want is our baby boy healthy and back to his playful, loving self.
