Get Well Soon Gussy!!

Gus was admitted to the vet last night after becoming ill. He is currently in serious condition. I’m sure of the exact details but from what I understand he has pneumonia and they have struggled to keep his temperature regulated. They suspect he has an infection of some sort but are waiting on test result. An oxygen tube and feeding tube have been placed in him today.
The vet is currently giving him a 50/50 chance of survival; however, we are remaining postitive and hopeful that he is going to make a full recovery!
Those of you that know my sister know just how important Gus is to her. She rescued him a few years ago and he’s been her sidekick since. As you can imagine, this is devastating for her.
The vet estimates the cost to be about $2,000 per day for Gus. It sounds like at minimum he will be there for 4-5 days.
Anything helps and is so apprciated at this time so my sister can worry less about the financial burden and just focus on Gussy getting well.
