Get Well Soon EVA MAE

August 30, 2016 our lives changed in so many ways. We joyously and fearfully awaited the arrival of Eva Mae, despite the uncertainity of what her medical condition would be. As a family, we had prepared for the potential scenario of only having a few short minutes with her, but since her birth she has and continues to survive and fight against the odds. So we say, "Grow Eva, Grow."

At their 20 week anatomical scan her loving parents James and Jillian recieved some of the most devestating news a parent will ever hear. They were told Eva's future was unpredictable. They expressed that Eva may not continue to grow and if she survived birth they were unsure of what her future would hold. After many tests and scans they learned there were concerns with the formation of Eva's eye structures, brain development, as well as her hands with no known diagnosis or syndrome to help navigate the doctors. Unfortunately, it was a wait and see kind of situation.

Eva's condition is still undiagnosed and there is no roadmap for treatment. In light of many unknowns, we rejoice in the recent news that Eva does in fact have the ability to hear.
Financial donations will assist in paying for Eva's medical bills and opening many doors for specialists whom Eva will not be able to see due to current financial restrictions. They have already found several specialists in out of state hospitals and donations will be also used for travel expenses and compensation for any time off of work that James may require.
