Hello! We are the women's club soccer team of Washington University in St. Louis. We absolutely love to play soccer AND we are good at it! This spring, we are hopeful to go to the 40th annual Kansas State University Ed Chartrand Memorial Tournament. As a university club team, our official season is in the fall, where we have been regional champions and national contenders the past 3 years in a row. However, with no formal season in the spring, our school does not fund us this semester. But, we want to keep playing together and improving as a team! This tournament lets us play and supports the Chartrand Foundation, which expands student's opportunities through both scholarship and access to sports!
We need funding for the entrance fee to the tournament (benefits the Chartrand Foundation), 2 nights of hotel stay for 20 athletes, food while at the tournament, and gas to and from St. Louis.
Every player on our team has grown as both a student and an athlete through soccer and the generosity of those around us to let us play. Please consider helping us both pay and play it forward.
