UMass Rugby, a club rugby team deriving from The University of Massachusetts Amherst recently qualified for the National Tournament in Washington DC. The Collegiate Rugby Championships is a nationwide tournament hosted by National Collegiate Rugby. This gives rugby teams and players from around the United States to showcase their skills for everyone to see. It offers players opportunities to be recognized by coaches and scouts of the highest degree. Creating a pipeline for rugby players to move onto the next level in their careers, to the professional level, and some reaching the USA national teams. Not only does this trip offer a platform for athletes, but it is also about the experiences that come with traveling to a place that some have never been before. The memories that come from trips like this are lifelong and unforgettable.

However, this is no cheap task. As a club, it is on us to raise the necessary funds to participate in these kinds of tournaments. We will spend these donations on hotels, transportation, and food.
