- Hi, my name is Kira, and my dear friend Tulsi was robbed yesterday. Tulsi, who is only 19, came from Australia in June to work as a counselor for a children's camp. While touring Philadelphia yesterday, her backpack and all her earnings were stolen. Fortunately, they didnt get her passport or international documents. Needless to say, Tulsi is devastated. She’s scared and she really misses her family right now. She will stay with my family until we can find her resources to get back home. I told Tulsi that the United States is a great country and that this wasn’t representative of the goodness that exists in our nation.
