Me and my family just got back from a holiday in Portugal where we took care of a street cat who was visibly pregnant and also had a really horrible open sore on her nose which I have now found out is nose cancer.

We couldn’t get her to the vet whilst we were out there and after contacting numerous cat rescue charities, we were told they could not help unless we got them to her ourselves which just was not possible with the time we had out there. We also were not sure if it was the right thing to take her to the vets for her to spend her last months in a cage.

I took a picture of her to the vet myself and they said she has nose cancer and after a lot of research since I got home I have found out there is a long lasting injection the vets can give her which will reduce her suffering for a few weeks at a time.

Any money raised will go towards my costs to go back to the area, and get her to the vets to be assessed, and then either get her the injection to reduce her suffering or see how viable chemotherapy/ongoing treatment would be in extending her life.

She was incredibly friendly and just the loveliest cat and I really want to be able to give her the best chance of survival/surviving in no pain for as long as possible. She deserves so much better and I can’t stand the idea of her suffering alone on the streets. Please help me raise funds to fly back to Portugal and get her more help that she needs. I know the area where she hangs around every day so could easily find her again.
