Get treatment for POTS

Hello my name is Kristen Herron and I am raising money to help to pay my treatment for POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). I am 26 years old and I have been suffering from this syndrome for over 2 years since I was diagnosed. POTS is a lesser know syndrome that affects the circulation of my blood whenever standing upright for any length of time. It causes many issues for me like dizziness, lightheaded, shortness of breath, fast heart rate, tremors, and dissociation. The symptoms get worse when I stand for long periods of time. This has hurt my mental health too and I have extreme anxiety and panic attacks whenever I leave home. I basically live at the Emergency room and the doctors office trying to find a treatment for POTS. This has been affecting every aspect of my life for the past couple of years. My job, family, mental and physical health, the ability to work towards my goals, are all impacted by this. I feel like I have had a lot of joy and opportunities robbed from me over the past fee years and I just want to be able to treat and manage this syndrome so that I can live a normal life.
After years of visiting doctors who didn’t know what was wrong with me or how to treat it, I found a doctor who specializes in treating this syndrome but my insurance doesn’t cover the visit or treatment. I need to raise $5,000 so that I can go see this specialist and get my health and happiness back but I have many other bills and not enough money to save because of how this disease affects my ability to work. I will appreciate your help a lot to make this possible.
