Hey, my name is Renee and I'm doing this fundraiser for my partner (tia) who would really benefit from having an electric scooter. I'm wanting to do this for her birthday that's coming up in February. She is such an amazing person who does almost anything to help other people out so I want to help her! Tia has Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), also known as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), it's a long-term, disabling illness that can impact various parts of the body. It's characterized by extreme fatigue that worsens with physical or mental activity. Symptoms don't fully improve with rest. ME/CFS can affect anyone, including children, and there's no known cause or cure. The only "treatment" she can do is try to manage her everyday life. She loved having an electric scooter to help her get around without exerting a lot of energy. Sadly last spring it got stolen after about 1 week of her owning it.
