UPDATE**
June made it through surgery and is likely to make a full recovery.
Addressing some concerns about Junes welfare, my partner and I are registered breeders who have had vets following along with her pregnancy. Both her and the stud were genetically cleared of any defects or diseases.
June was admitted at first sign of distress, this couldn’t have been expected as June was in good condition for breeding, as stated by the vet.
Thank you all for your concern for our pupper.
We’d ask if you’re able to, continue to share this as we recover from the financial aftermath and pay off the rest of her bills.
Hi all, meet our beautiful girl, June.
June is 23 months old and is currently staying at the emergency vet for observation.
Typically June is an energetic pup, who spends the day, chasing her ball and the night, snuggling.
Due to complications with pregnancy, June lost one of her puppies last night at 6 weeks and another one this morning. Both puppies were stillborn. June is fighting an infection alongside gastroenteritis. The fear at the moment is June becoming septic, which could be fatal.
Our team of vets aren’t confident in why this is happening, none of them having seen this before.
We are remaining hopeful but don’t know what the future holds. We will do all we can to help June fight this, but that’s why we need your help.
In the past 24 hours, we have spent $3300 on June’s vet bills and are expecting another $3000 tomorrow.
To protect June, she needs surgery to remove her uterus, terminating the pregnancy.
Its been beyond stressful not only to see our dog in such pain but also trying to get together enough money to support her.
We have done all we can to keep her puppies safe, but of course, June is our priority.
Anything you can donate would be incredibly appreciated. Even sharing this or offering a prayer would be a great help.
Thank you for taking the time to read. Again, we thank anyone who is in a position to help us in providing our girl with the best possible care.
