Get the NZ Dota 2 team to the Commonwealth Games

Donation protected
We are the EBlacks New Zealand's representative Dota 2 Opens Team for this years' Commonwealth Games, to be held between 1st and 8th of August 2022 in Birmingham, UK.

The Commonwealth Games has newly introduced a pilot Esports event with the aim to be run as a demonstration for its future inclusion as a medal event in 2026, as well as a possibility of being including in future Olympic Games.

Our team is composed of five of the top players in the country in the game of Dota 2, and we were chosen to represent our country after winning the National Trials in May. Despite multiple challenges and delays we eventually secured our qualification for Birmingham. We feel very privileged to be given this opportunity to help promote and contribute to the future of Esports, as well as represent our country in an international setting.

As this is the first Esports event at the Commonwealth Games, we have only minimal funding and sponsorship which does not cover all the costs for our team to travel and compete (primarily flight costs). Any support or donations from you will be greatly appreciated by each of us and also the New Zealand Esports Federation.

All funds raised will be put towards our flights to and from London.

The E Blacks Roster is: Sam 'Fury' Johnson, Tobias 'Tobz' Sveaas, Jordan 'Zavier' Baker, Tom 'Breathless' Shi and Rangsey 'Magic' Mou
