Donation protected
The National Leasehold Campaign have been short-listed for the 'Women In Housing Awards 2019'

We are proud to announce we have been short-listed for 3 categories:

1. Team of the year - Marketing/Sales
2. Improving the lives of women or communities.
3. Marketing or communications initiative.

The Women in Housing Awards recognises and celebrates the achievements of outstanding women working in housing.

Now in their seventh year, the awards highlight the amazing work and achievements of the many women who make a major contribution.

We are honoured to have made the short-list and it's a clear indication of how the sector is changing.  This is great recognition for the NLC who represent those 'trapped' in the leasehold system.

As you know the NLC is run by volunteers who give up their time for free to fight for the rights of leaseholders, and ultimately to abolish leasehold.  This corporate event comes with a corporate price tag.

As with all the events and activities we do, we rely solely on peoples kind donations.

A table of 10 for this event is £2,075.00 + VAT.

We would like to hold our heads high at this event and continue to represent Leaseholders.

We would appreciate any donations.
(Please bear in mind Go Fund Me charge 25p per donation plus 2.9%)

* By donating to this fund you are agreeing for us to use the funds to book a table at this event.  If we do not raise enough money or  there are any excess funds this will be transferred directly to the NLC Bank account to be used to support the wider campaign.

Many Thanks for your continued support, we can't do it without you.

"Katie Kendrick doesn’t like “just moaning”. So when the right to own her family’s brand new leasehold house was sold from underneath them, the Cheshire nurse started a Facebook campaign to abolish the system that made this legal.

Two years and almost 13,000 members later, her National Leasehold Campaign group on Facebook is galvanising record responses to a raft of official consultations that could finally reform leasehold law. Yet powerful freeholders have already threatened judicial review to the government, which risks facing compensation claims of billions of pounds. It is a pivotal moment for the feudal practices that still control at least a fifth of homes in England and Wales"

Secretive but aggressive new land barons are making billions of pounds from homeowners in England and Wales .  Feudal laws give these freehold tycoons myriad ways legally to extract money, from charging £179 to allow two screws in the wall to paralysing one whole town .  As a parliamentary inquiry condemns the leasehold system, we reveal the faceless freeholders and their methods

Together we can do this. It's an amazing illustration of PEOPLEPOWER at it's best.
