Hello people, my name is Travis.
I’ve been running a burger van down the A17 in Lincolnshire for the last three and a half years.
My journey into catering didn’t start in a kitchen—it started as a delivery driver. But over time, I found myself drawn to cooking. Spending time at home making food for myself and my family made me realise how much I genuinely enjoyed it. So when I was given the opportunity to work in a kitchen, it was nerve-racking. I didn’t want to mess it up. At first, I was slow and messy—but I stuck with it.
Before long, I found my rhythm. After just a year, I worked my way up to becoming the manager of the takeaway/restaurant.
During that time, I saved up enough money—along with help from my stepmum and dad—to invest in my own catering trailer. After that, I moved to a different kitchen to learn more while saving for a vehicle to tow it. I spent nearly a year there, starting out washing pots, but quickly worked my way up to becoming one of the strongest on the team—especially on the meat carving and pizzas (at Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery).
Then December 2022 came around. I’d bought a Passat, booked two weeks off work, and finally launched Millzy’s Munch.
Those two weeks flew by, and with the busy Christmas period, I agreed to stay on through Christmas and New Year, then drop down to part-time—working evenings and weekends. After a few months, I made the leap and committed to the burger van full-time.
That brings us to today.
I’ve built something I’m incredibly proud of—a strong, loyal community of customers who have become friends. We’ve shared some amazing moments over the years, and it’s something I don’t want to lose.
Unfortunately, I’m now facing a major setback: my trailer is reaching the end of it's life.
A lot of my customers and friends encouraged me to set up this GoFundMe. I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but this is for anyone who wants to support the journey and be part of building the best burger van—and burgers—in Lincolnshire ❤️
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
And if you do choose to donate, I truly appreciate it more than I can put into words.
I don’t expect to reach the full goal—but it’s there just in case. Shoot for the stars, and even if you fall short, you’re still further ahead than you ever thought possible.
