Hi everyone,

My name is Ben, and I’m writing this today to ask for community support for my family.

As many of you know, we have a full house! With two kids currently in college and three more in elementary and high school, life is always busy. To keep everything running, we rely heavily on our primary vehicle, a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

This Jeep is vital to our daily lives. Most importantly, it is the car my wife uses to get to and from work every day to help support our family. It also hauls the younger kids to their school events and activities. Unfortunately, it recently suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure.

We were devastated to learn that the transmission needs to be completely replaced. The shop has quoted us $5,500 to get it back on the road.

To be honest, this expense has hit us at a very difficult time. Between helping with college tuition expenses and the daily costs of raising three younger children, our emergency funds are tapped out. We simply do not have $5,500 sitting available for a repair of this magnitude, but we cannot afford to continue quadrupling our commute to get everyone where they need to be every day.

Here is exactly where the funds will go:

Repair: 100% of donations will go directly to the mechanic to cover the new transmission and labor for the 2020 Jeep.

Timeline: We are hoping to raise these funds as soon as possible so my wife can get back to her normal commute.
