Get the Frishmuth’s to South Africa

Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for support to help my family of six travel to South Africa to honor the life of my beloved uncle, who recently passed away. He was more than just an uncle to me—he was like a father figure, and someone who shaped who I am today.

Losing him has left a void in our hearts, and we want to say goodbye in the place that meant so much to him. Traveling to South Africa will not only allow us to pay our respects but also give us the chance to celebrate his incredible life, his kindness, and the legacy he left behind. He was deeply loved, and the impact he had on everyone around him is immeasurable.

Unfortunately, as a family of six, the financial burden of international travel is overwhelming. Because of this, the last time I have been able to visit home was in 2016. We are asking for your generosity to help cover the costs of airfare, and other travel expenses, so that we can be together in South Africa to honor his memory.
