Get the fantasy version of Knyghte Pyke & Sworde

Cheers folks.

Many of you have seen various drafts of what will become Fantasy KPS: A “big skirmish” game of fantasy warfare using units of single-based figures. It has been well received by a small group of dedicated fans.

The game is close to where it can be finished with all the material I am wanting to put in, but it will require a concentrated stretch of work to get over the finish line. For this reason I am putting together a mini crowd fund to do just that: Pitch in to support the game getting finished so I can just bunker down and get it completed.

The goal is simple: Pitch in so I can bunker down and grind out the rest of the game, then you can all play it and have a a great time.

What does KPS offer already?

-Small units of 3 or 6 figures making the game easy to build and paint forces for. A typical army might have 3-4 such units as well as a couple of characters.

-Exciting and lively combat with distinct unit types that are easy to adapt figures into.

-Easy to learn.

-Points values.

-Includes both scenarios and simple campaign rules.

What will the fantasy version offer in addition?

-The aim is about 150 pages and covering the following features:

-3 “schools” of magic with at least 10 spells each.
-10 or more fantasy races to play as.

-A huge collection of monsters, minions, character types and magic items.

-Points values for most things including monsters, minions and more.

-A system for randomly generating armies (to help solo players out)

-A mercenary campaign option where you recruit units as you play.

-A living rulebook that will be updated and improved based on player feedback.
