I’m setting up this GoFundMe for one of my very good friends who is currently going through breast cancer treatment. As if that isn’t enough to carry, her husband is also dealing with his own health issues, and together they’re doing everything they can to stay strong for their little boy, James.

I cannot put into words how proud I am of her. The strength, courage and positivity she has shown throughout treatment has been incredible. Even on the hardest days, she continues to show up as the most amazing mum and partner, and she inspires everyone around her more than she knows.

James is nearly 4 and has been the most amazing, brave little boy throughout it all. He’s shown such patience, kindness and understanding far beyond his years while his mummy has been in treatment and hospital appointments have become part of normal life.

Our hope is to raise enough to give this beautiful family something truly special to look forward to – a trip to Disneyland Paris. A bit of magic, joy and escape after such an incredibly tough time, and memories they can hold onto forever.
