19 year old Taahtee is currently in need of secure housing and a fresh start. Taahtee is a brilliant, bright, resilient young woman who has dreams of being a writer and stepping into the music industry.
Unfortunately like a lot of black queer youth, she has faced less than ideal support from her family in her journey. She is navigating this through a pandemic, the current uprising against this fascist, white supremacist state, and just existing in the body of a black woman.
Young women like Taahtee truly should not have to want for ANYTHING ever, but especially during this time, and especially not a roof over their heads.
We are raising money to get Taahtee into a new space where she feels safe, stable and at home, and a set of wheels so that she can be mobile.
