Hello! I am raising funds for the family of my dear friend Gilani AlSharieef. He lives here in the Bay Area but his entire family is still in Sudan - he has been unable to get them here to safety despite his efforts for over 5 years. Things have gotten increasingly dangerous where they live so he needs to help them get out of the country to Egypt for safety. Any donations are a huge help to the current situation!

I have known Gilani for over 5 years. He is a medical doctor who came to the US to study at Harvard and then was offered a Clinical Research scholarship there that he completed several years ago. Since then he has been pursuing his credentials to practice medicine in California while trying to gain asylum for his daughters and his wife. It has been very difficult but he does his best to remain positive and continue with his studies. We thank you for the support!
