Get Steve Home From Emergency Surgery!

Hi, I’m Crystal and I’m helping my parents with setting up a Go Fund Me to help my father Steve Cox get back home from Seattle following an emergency surgery.

You see Steve was on a horse ride in Eureka, Montana when he was thrown from the horse and broke his pelvis! When he was seen at the local hospital it was discovered that he required surgical repair that couldn’t be done at that location or even Montana! He required such specialty that they flew him to Seattle. Thank God that his surgery went well, but while the hospital stays are covered by insurance, the return trip home is not.

Working with the hospital Social Worker, we discovered the hospital would not allow me to fly him or drive him home privately. They require a medical transport as his surgery was so invasive he would need the special transport. The best estimate they could give us is $10,000 for medical transport from Seattle to the Rehabilitation Center that he will call home while completing the 6 week recovery.
