Hello, on behalf of Sophie we are seeking support from our friends, family, and village.

Sophie has been nominated for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence. Her nomination and invitation is based on her academic excellence in the field of science, leadership and community involvement. She has been invited to attend a conference in Boston, MA in June of 2023. The conference includes seminars, networking, and attending a live surgery complete with Q&A with the attending surgeons. Sophie will participate in discussions involving emerging medical technology. She is extremely proud and excited to have been offered this opportunity.

Sophie is an honor student. She is a varsity athlete who lettered in Cross Country as a freshman. She will receive a distinctive diploma in the STEM&M program highlighting Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medical study. Sophie’s goal is to be a Pediatrician. She is driven to advocate for children when they cannot advocate for themselves.

Due to Sophie and her younger sisters surgery this year we are asking for financial help in getting Sophie to this conference. We are hoping to find generosity and support from our community. The goal we have set is to provide conference fees, airfare and lodging for her attend.
