Help Socks get from Guam to her new home in Georgia!
Meet Socks. She was dumped on the Guam Community College (GCC) Campus in early August. She befriended public health, GCC and military staff during their community health fair. Sergeant Smith, a visiting military member, fell in love with her and wants to give her a new home with three siblings in Georgia!
However, getting Socks off Guam and to her new home is difficult. United Airlines, the only domestic airline in Guam, discontinued their pet shipping program a few years ago and are unable to fly Socks. Therefore, her only way off Guam is by by charter plane. The estimated cost of the charter flight to her new home is approximately $5,000.
Socks is trying to raise money so she can join her new family in the mainland. All contributions will be used for her charter flight through Pet Shippers Guam.
