Get Siobhan moving

Hello I'm Deasy ,a friend of Siobhan's and her Tribe of Doris collaborator ! As many of you may know Siobhan has had a run in with cancer , banished the unwelcome visitor for a few years and then after an operation that was meant to get rid of a small brain tumor , her left arm and leg have been permanently paralysed and she is currently in a care home on the outskirts of Bristol. This may have to be the long term solution for her, which is a tragic outcome for one so mobile, a constant traveller and delighter in the world, full of creativity and inspiration.

She is also in need of some regular physiotherapy and after waiting months for some NHS support, nothing has actually happened. SO together with our friend Susan Newman, we are gathering the funds together to make this happen .

On saturday May 17th its Siobhans 70th Birthday and we have ordered the wheelchair, put down a deposit and it will be delivered in July.

Between now and then we would love it if you could help us make it happen for Siobhan and anything we raise above the cost of the wheelchair we will use to buy in some physio. Your suppoort will mean a lot to Siobhan and her visiting friends, who all want to give Siobhan the best possible oppoortunity to enjoy her life, within the limits of her permanent damage to her mobility.

5hrs hrs after posting this the response has been amazing and we are smashing it. The one thing we know Siobhan would benefit most from is regular healing and massage and physio , so I have increased the amount , so we can give her years worth of treatment !!!!!
