Get Silas Miller Back on His Feet

We all thought he was impervious to gravity, but sometimes even superman could use some help. Silas Miller, local chimney expert, brewery owner and mountain man, took a serious fall while climbing at Cathedral Ledge. Between the cost of surgery and months out of work, the financial burden will be a lot, so we are passing the hat among friends and family to step up and help a guy who has done so much for all of us.

Silas is a guy whose heroics in the community and in the mountains fly under the radar. He has installed countless stoves and swept countless chimneys, providing safe and clean home heating to the Mt. Washington Valley since 2012. As the owner of Ledge Brewing Company he works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the place running, providing a beloved watering hole and gathering spot. He is a devoted husband, father of two young children, and a good friend to many.

On top of being an upstanding citizen, Silas is a beast in the mountains, achieving wild feats often "fresh off the couch" and without fanfare. Whether he's throwing a backflip on skis over the Tuckerman headwall or setting a speed record running up and down Whitehorse Ledge, he brings fearless and boundless energy to his mountain pursuits.
