Hi, My name Shelley and I am fundraising to help me get to Dresden, Germany to be part of the World Transplant Games.

In 2015 I was lucky enough be given the gift of life via a Kidney and pancreas transplant.

Due to complications in my 1st pregnancy, in 2013, my kidneys started to fail and a transplant was needed by 2015.

Post transplant I have been healthy and fortunate to have another child, continue my career as a Nurse and live my life to the full. All of this is down to hard work, medication and my most of all my donor- my life saver!!

I have competed in the British transplant games from 2019 winning Gold medals in Archery and Ten pin Bowling and last year I was selected to represent Team Great Britain in the World Transplant Games, filling me with pride and enabling me to honour my donor and her family! And all the other organ transplant recipients do the same, from all over the world.

I am asking for donations towards helping me get to Dresden, to help spread the important message, that Organ donation works and saves lives. And the importance of having that conversation with your loved ones..... Thank you!!!
