I Had an eye test which picked up an anomaly and then was required to go under the care of the neurological surgeons.

In February 2019 they found a mass growing around my brain stem and optical nerve. I had an operation to remove it, however complications during surgery in june 2019 caused a stroke. This stroke has left me with left sided weakness. 

I started my rehabilitation post surgery in July 2019. Following 3 months Donald Wilson Rehabilitation centre I was discharged home. I have been undertaking private physiotherapy. 

Now the on going journey continues... 

I really love cycling and I want to be able to do it again. Getting an E trike will enable me my next stage of independence and allow me to be out on a bike again.

My friend Lucy and her motley crew of friends are going to try and cycle from Winchester to Worthing on 1st August. This is an epic off road mountain bike cycle of nearly 60 miles. This is a super duper challenge. They are doing this to raise money to get me cycling again.
