Hi! Nyob zoo!

My name is Daniel Lee (I'm the dude on the left). On October 10, 2020, a photographer by the name of John Hwang posted a photo of Sang D Yang (second from the left) that touched the hearts of thousands of Hmong people. Sang had found himself homeless living on the streets of Los Angeles, without any money, food, or help. His ID and phone were stolen, so he wasn't able to get any resources in the area.

A few of us Hmong folks living in LA including Chaping (middle right), Nhia (far right), and Stacy (not pictured), as well as a few others searched the area looking for Sang in order to help. We've found him and long story short: we're going to get him home.

This GoFundMe will cover travel expenses to get Sang back home to Milwaukee, WI into a shelter that can provide room/board, as well as rehabilitation services and job placement. As an extra, we'd like to send him back with some warm clothes since it's so cold out in the midwest.
