Hi everyone!!

My name is Amy. My sisters and I are creating this GoFundMe for our mom, Ruth Pendergrass, who suffered a serious fall last Friday morning. She's currently hospitalized with her pelvis broken in three places and a spinal fracture. Mom is experiencing significant pain and has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Later this week or next, we hope to transfer her to a rehabilitation facility to begin physical therapy, which will be crucial for her healing and her being able to regain her mobility.

Before Mom can return home, we need to immediately modify our parents' house. We need to:

- Install a wheelchair ramp for safe entry

- Widen the bathroom doorway (which means partially removing a wall)

- Move plumbing / electrical to accommodate the new door and reposition appliances

- Convert the bathtub to a wheelchair-accessible walk-in shower

- Set up a temporary meal delivery service
