Hi there. We are Pete and Lis.

Roxy, our sweet 9-year-old Pitty, has suffered an ACL tear and needs orthopedic surgery to repair her knee. Roxy has done extremely well recently recovering from a terminal Congestive Heart Failure diagnosis in October 2023. Exercise was a big part of her heart recovery, and she remained very active for a senior dog right up until her injury. After an extremely challenging year (details of which we'd be happy to share privately), we need help getting Roxy back on her feet.

We are coming off a difficult year leaving us under-resourced. We thought we would try to get Roxy well again with the help of family, friends, and community.

Roxy will be under the care of Dr. Kim (pictured here) and the staff at WesternU Pet Center in Pomona. They've estimated $2,700-$3,200 (estimate pictured) for the procedure to repair her knee. Getting Roxy in for x-rays, blood work, and diagnostics prior to seeing the surgeon has virtually tapped us out.

No contribution is too low, and we would be so grateful if we only had to cover half of the bill.
