*UPDATE* ROGUE IS HOME ❤️ thank you everyone so much for sharing and donating. Donations have now been paused and the money will be donated to an XL bully charity to help other dogs like Rogue. Massive thank you all again
Hi, my name is Emily and I’m setting up this GoFund Me for my friend Nicole and her beautiful dog Rogue. The police have told Nicole shes looking at starting fees of £1,200 to get Rogue back, on top of fees for the kennels she is staying in which could be for up to 6 months IF they get it to court to fight for her.
Please read my friend’s story and consider donating to get Rogue back with her family where she belongs!
‘So yesterday morning, the thing weve been dreading the most since the ban , happened.
Rogue was taken from us , due to a report of being a dangerous dog on the property we had gone through all the relevant documentation that was needed to keep her from the start. However the insurance was due 2 weeks ago and this voided the exemption 2 weeks ! Just 2 weeks and we have lost her because of it.
We are truly devastated rogue wasn't just a dog she was family, kids best friend, the kittens mother and Eddie's support system ! Just taken because a vindictive neighbour didn't get their way when they reported her to the rspca and it was shut down with no concerns for her!
Shes alone in a kennel for God knows how long thinking the family she loves unconditionally abandoned her it's just not right ! You wouldn't hurt a fly! All because your an xl bully tarnished with the same brush as all of the breed
Why? What have we done to deserve our dog being MURDERED ? For what ?
Rogue we will try everything we can to get you back but it's not looking good we simply don't have 1000s to fight this. we miss you so much girl the house is not the same without your pitter patter you give us everything you had to give so we will do the same ! fingers crossed we can get you back ! We love you roguey
I do want to add to this i am in no way, bashing the police. The officer who attended were great they really did try everything they could to keep her home. They could see she wasn't a danger to anyone. They loved her. Higher ups deemed the exemption void due to insurance and they made the decision to take her, the officers were devastated too. They didn't muzzle her or anything because they knew she was not dangerous. The inspector of the officers allowed us to pay for insurance there and then so we did, they was about to leave however the dog liason officer called them and told them to take her as they voided her exemption at that point there was nothing we could do.’
Thank you for taking the time to read and any penny is massively appreciated and helps Rogue ❤️
**Edit** a lovely lady has offered her help and lowered the fees in order to fight for Rogue, therefore we have adjusted the GoFund Me goal to £500. Thank you for all the support so far!
