Most people here will know me from crows nest Vancouver or bjj, recently a fire in the building destroyed my home and simultaneously put me out of work at the same time, my insurance company has told me that it would be upward of a year plus before they would be able to offer me any help, even though I have been providing the necessary information.

asking for help has never ever been something I have been good at, so I’m putting my ego aside and asking for any help for me to cover the things I need in this time which is covering some short term rental/storage a few moving expenses and to replace some essentials I lost due to water and smoke damage.

I'm remaining positive as this situation could have been much worse but thankfully no one was injured.
