Hello friends, it's me, Rizzo! While I am handsome, luck does not tend to be on my side. As a puppy, I broke my leg during my first week of living in my forever home- kind of my Aunt Wrigley's (the Labradoodle) fault for taking fetch too seriously (we still love her though!). A year and a half later, I had some big seizures that resulted in a sleepover at the hospital and lots of time at my new favorite place- the vet! I take all my medicines every morning and night to make sure I am a healthy boy. While I still have a seizure here and there, I am doing a lot better!
This last month, I had trouble walking and asked my mom and dad to take me to see my friends at the vet. They said I tore my ACL and need surgery so I can be myself again! The only tricky part is that I do not qualify for insurance and the vet does not accept treats as payment. My surgery is scheduled for early May and my mom and dad are doing the best they can to get my procedure paid for upfront because payment plans arent accepted. I was hoping to ask my friends for help with covering some of the costs to surprise my mom and dad! They love me so incredibly much and they are the world to me.
