My cat Chester is a rescue and I adopted him at 8 years old. When I adopted him, he had teeth in bad shape, he was terrified but wanted love, and had a kinked tail and a scar behind his ear (he still has both to this day). Over time, he's blossomed into a wonderfully sweet, mischievous, affectionate and playful fluff ball. Recently I noticed that he was making crunching, grinding noises when he closes his mouth - what I've started calling the 'Chompa Chompas™️'. I took a picture of his mouth and sent it to the vet - I wanna make sure my fluffy old man is taken care of - and they told me he's going to need a dental to get at least that one tooth removed.
They have to do a lot of prep work to make sure its safe to put him under anesthesia, especially since he's an older gentleman, and the procedure itself is also really expensive. Anything you can contribute to help would really help me and Chester - otherwise I might have to hold off to save up enough, and his "chompa chompas" might become really painful in the meantime.
Truly, thank you so much for even reading this and looking at my cute son. Even just getting people to see this helps. Chester, his brothers, and I really appreciate you
